Log an AFib Episode

This article explains how to complete the Log an AFib Episode task on the home screen. We will go over how to log measurements, and how to review previously entered data.

Step 1: Find the Log an AFib Episode Task

The Log Afib Episode task will appear on your home screen under the To-Do section, or in the Ad-Hoc Button menu. It will look something like this:

Step 2: Report your Afib Episode

First, you will be asked to report whether or not you are still experiencing AFib. 

Then, will be asked when your episode started. you can select I don't know if you don't remember the start time. Also, note that this time can be approximate. 

Afterward, you will be asked to report when your AFib episode ended.

Step 3: Record Your Heart Rate 

In the last step, you will be asked what your heart rate was during the episode. You may respond with I don't know.  

Step 4: Review Your Previous AFib episodes

To view more details about your AFib episodes, go to the History screen and select the AFib Episodes card.

The AFib Episodes card will show you how many episodes that you have logged in the last 7 days, the number of hours you were in AFib according to your logged episodes (not this does not include the hours logged in your daily check-in), and your average heart rate over the last 7 days. 

Tap on the card to see a more detailed history of your AFib episodes.
