This article is a part of a series that explains the use of each tab in the participant profile. These profiles will be your primary method for monitoring the individual progress of each participant. When you go into the console, you may or may not be able to see all of the sections/tabs that we discuss in this series. That's okay! It is just the way your program has been designed.
In this article, we will go over the function and content of the Tasks tab in a participant's profile.
Tasks
This section of the participant profile will be essential to evaluating a user's participation in a program.
Review Overall Task Completion
The tasks tab shows you an itemized list of all of the tasks that the participant has been assigned in the app. You can filter this list by Activity (the list of specific tasks in the user's plan), Type (the list of all task types available in the Pattern Health Console), Status, or Date.
As participants begin to complete tasks in the app, you will see new statuses as well as the times that each participant finished the tasks.
Review Task Details
You can click on each task for more details. For example, if you want to review a participant's heart rate measurement, click on the Check Heart Rate task.
Update Tasks
For most of the tasks in this list, you will have the option to update a task as an administrator. This means changing the data that the participant has entered in the app.
For example, if a participant reaches out to let you know that they entered their weight measurement incorrectly, you could go to the Tasks tab in their profile and change that measurement.
To do so, find the incorrect Check Weight task. Then, click the blue Edit Task button in the bottom right corner.
Once you've finished updating the measurement, click Save. You will be able to review the change history for this task in the Updates section. The task will reflect the new weight measurement here in the console, as well as in the participant's app.
