Patient Medications

This article is a part of a series that explains the use of each tab in the participant profile. These profiles will be your primary method for monitoring the individual progress of each participant. When you go into the console, you may or may not be able to see all of the sections/tabs that we discuss in this series. That's okay! It is just due to the way your program has been designed. 

In this article, we will go over the function and content of the Medications tab in the patient profile. 

Medications

Patients can manage their medications directly from the Pattern app. However, you may wish to set up or update the patients' prescribed medications. 

To set up a patient's medications, start by visiting the patient's profile. 

Then, navigate to the Medications tab and click on Add Medication.

Start typing the name of the medication in the Medication field to populate details on the medication. 

Complete any additional necessary details. Note that the Frequency and Time(s) fields are required. The start and end date fields may be left blank for ongoing medications. 

Finally, click on the blue Save button on the bottom right to complete adding the patient's medication. The medication will now appear on the patient's profile. 

As we mentioned earlier, patients can also update and customize these medications on their own.
