Invite a Participant - Invite Code

In this article, we will go over how to get participants set up in the Pattern Health app using an invite code. We will review how participants can download the app, and enter an invite code that is specific to their program. Once you have created a participant profile in the Pattern Health Console, the participant will be able to log into their plan on the Pattern Health app using an invite code. 

Step 1: Ask Participant to Download the App

To access their plan, participants will first have to download the Pattern Health App to their smartphones. Have the participant go to their app store (the Google Play Store for Android users or the App Store for iPhone users), and search for “Pattern”. The Pattern Health app should be the first result. The participant should download this app to their device. 

Step 2: Generate an Invite Code

Go to the participant's profile (select their name from the patient list in the Pattern Health Console). 

Then click on the button in the top right to Generate Invite Code.

A pop-up screen will appear with a six-letter code. This code is unique to the participant you generated it for.  The invite code will be valid for 2 days, at which point you can generate a new one if necessary.

Step 3: Share Invite Code with Participant

Once you have generated the invite code, you can share it with the participant. When they open the Pattern Health app for the first time, they will a screen that looks something like this: 

Here, the participant can enter the invite code you generated for them. The next screen will ask them to confirm their date of birth before granting them access to the app.
